Join WFTA on Sunday, March 6th, 2022 at 2:00 PM to explore parts of the Massachusetts Central Rail Trail and WFTA trails. Park near the Concord Road overpass near the trailhead for the Mass Central Rail Trail. From there we will head east, learn about the Weston Plant Pollinator Alliance garden project, and visit the site of a recent Eagle Scout project with a lovely bench overlooking the pond. Then we will walk a loop into the woods behind Town Hall. As we make our way back towards Concord Road, we will learn about the murals painted under the Concord Road overpass. Folks with limited time can choose to head home at this point in the walk, while others can stay with our leader and head back into the woods and trails for more exploration.
All ages are welcome, as are well behaved dogs on leash. Walkers need not be Weston Forest and Trail Association members, but we encourage you to consider joining us, as dues support the maintenance of Weston's trails and open spaces. WFTA has been hosting Sunday Walks for over sixty years.
