Vicki Gifford will lead a family-friendly walk through Nolte Forest. Discover the old stone chimney with hearth among the pine trees. Explore 53 acres of wetlands and forests. Last year, we had a half-dozen kids join and work on their Junior Rangers Notebooks.

February Walk Recap: Cat Rock

Hikers at snowy top of Cat Rock with distant view beyond.

On February 1st, Gail Palmer led a small but hearty group for our walk around Cat Rock and 80 Acres. The weather was perfect—crisp but calm—and the views from the top were spectacular. We even ran into a local skier at the summit who captured this group shot. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to celebrate World Wetlands Day a day early!
