WFTA trail walks have returned! But please note: because of attendance limits on gatherings due to COVID-19, we are now using a signup form for trail walks.
On Sunday, October 4th, Kristin Barbieri will lead a walk in the College Pond and Burchard Park area. Learn about the history of Merriam's farm, barn, and the apple orchard at one of the town's largest conservation properties. Park at Burchard Park tennis courts. The walk will begin promptly at 2 PM and last 1.5 to 2 hours.
Members, visitors, children and well-behaved dogs (on leash) are all welcome. Walks are limited to 40 people. Masks are required. Please be sure to check our website for any last minute changes.
Update 9/22/20: the walk is at capacity! If you would like to be added to a wait list for the walk, please email westonforesttrail@gmail.com and we will contact you before the walk if a space is available for you. In addition, if you signed up for the walk but are no longer planning to attend, please email us so we can open up spaces for others. Thanks for your interest!
