Join us on Sunday, November 1st at 2 PM to explore part of the Rail Trail and walk into Jericho Town Forest and Sunday Woods. We'll meet at the Concord Road Rail Trail entrance, near the beginning of Laxfield Road. Parking is available by the north and south spurs of the Rail Trail, but it is limited. We will begin by walking west down the Mass Central Rail Trail and return via Jericho Town Forest and Sunday Woods, one of the oldest and newest public forest areas in Weston, respectively. The walk will last about an hour.
All ages are welcome, as are well behaved dogs on leash. Walkers need not be Weston Forest and Trail Association members, but we encourage you to consider joining as dues support the maintenance of Weston's trails and open spaces. WFTA has been hosting Sunday Walks for over 60 years, but because of the COVID-19 virus, we must organize things a little differently this year. Walks will be capped at 40 people and masks will be required, and we ask that you register in advance. Please be sure to check our home page for any last minute changes.
Update 10/26/20: the walk is at capacity! If you would like to be added to a wait list for the walk, please email westonforesttrail@gmail.com and we will contact you before the walk if a space is available for you. In addition, if you signed up for the walk but are no longer planning to attend, please email us so we can open up spaces for others. Thanks for your interest!
