Boardwalk over spillway
As part of the renovation of Hobbs Pond, a new boardwalk was built to cross the spillway. Thanks, Conservation Commission!

The Weston Forest & Trail Association will conduct its next monthly trail walk Sunday April 7th at 2 p.m. We will meet at the end of Drabbington Way, at the parking lot next to the ball field, rain or shine.

We will visit some of the highlights of the Cat Rock/80 Acres park on north side of Weston, including the Hobbs Pond, the new dam, the rehabbed bridges across Hobbs Brook and the old ski slope.

Trail maps of all Weston conservation land can be purchased at the Conservation Commission office in the Town Hall, 11 Town House Road, Weston.

All ages are welcome to join us. Attendees do not have to be members of WFTA to join the walk, but consider becoming a member. Membership dues support the maintenance and preservation of Weston’s open space. Dogs are welcome but must be on leash. Tailgate refreshments will follow the walk.

For information, contact the walk leader, Joel Angiolillo (edit: contact info removed after walk).
