WFTA Trail Walk - Sears Estate, December 7, 2025, 2pm

Enjoy a special holiday treat as we walk over the river and through the woods to explore the old Sears Estate and the Melone Homestead.

When: Sunday, December 7th at 2:00 PM

Where: Meet at the old watering trough on the green

What to bring: Good walking shoes, water bottle, and layers

Dogs welcome: On leash or under voice control

Everyone’s welcome, whether you’ve lived here for decades or just moved to town. It’s a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon and enjoy the holiday season together.

What a lovely afternoon we had on November 2nd exploring Hubbard Forest and Orchard Avenue! About 26–30 neighbors joined walk leader Kristin Barbieri for a journey through time. Nancy Bates even came to share stories of growing up on Orchard Avenue and walking home from the bus stop through Hubbard Woods as a girl. Pam Fox joined us with wonderful historical tidbits and insights.
