Maintaining Ski Tracks in the Woods

Whenever there is more than a few inches of snow on the ground, you will find cross-country ski trails in the woods. These trails are often “hard won” by skiers blazing new trails. And the skiers who follow find it easier to ski in these previously made tracks. We would like to keep two paths in the woods, one for people walking, snow-shoeing or biking, and the other for skiers. So when you are walking in the woods please keep to the side of any ski trails.
