Assistance in Preserving Land
Weston Forest and Trail has worked with many private landowners on preserving smaller pieces of land that may be important to the character of individual neighborhoods. We help landowners understand the tax and estate advantages of conservations restrictions, and help raise funds to support the acquisition of conservation restrictions.
An excellent book providing a detailed look at the advantages of putting land in conservation restriction is Stephen Small’s Preserving Family Land.
